Approach
Embedding new behavior in the organization takes place by:
Integration in management systems
OMM© measures the behavior of employees in processes and integrates behavioral aspects in processes, creating the reference framework for process audits and existing measurement tools. Examples are customer and employee satisfaction surveys and ‘mystery shopping’. This makes monitoring of the changes in the organization a part of the management review process.
Integration in the HRM cycle
The individual development points of the OMM© program form part of the HRM cycle of planning, progress and appraisal discussions. Integration with management development programs, training and familiarization programs ensures the continuity of OMM©. The behavioral vision is directly translated into function and competence profiles, recruitment and selection.
Managing behavior
Holding people accountable for behavior is difficult, and is therefore often avoided. The behavioral development phase of OMM© provides employees and managers with tools to do this in a mature way.
MANS offers organizations the OMM network: a unique maintenance system in which managers and employees from different organizations train and monitor their development points continuously, throughout the year.
Using intervision and on-the-job coaching, managers familiarize themselves with managing behavior. MANS can provide field coaches to support departments and their managers on an interim basis in process management, behavior and communication.
Organizations that want to make OMM© a permanent process appoint their own OMM© coaches. MANS trains OMM© coaches in an OMM© Train-the-Coach program. Participants have to pass a quality test, after which they can start working internally.
